If you want a romance, of second chances and mature adults instead of those in their twenties, then this book is for you.

Everyone dreams about being left a beautiful house and its contents in a will, of having a place far away from everything else and that couldn't come at a better time for Thea. Having just found out that her husband has been sleeping with her friend, Thea moves out, only to return to pack some things up when she gets a letter from her great uncle's lawyer. It's a second chance that she grabs up with both hands and soon she and her best friend is driving up to Scotland to see the house and all that is inside.
With the house, comes two brothers. The youngest, a lord who is trying to buy back the land and buildings which their father and grandfather sold of and the oldest, who gave up the title and is more interested in the books that great uncle Andrew left behind.

It isn't long before Thea finds herself wrapped up in life in this small town, finding that she has more than one second chance in front of her.

A wonderful book of sweet and funny moments that made me laugh, a perfect read for anyone who wants a pick me up.
